Thank you for enquiring about our Drysuit Course

Here at Divecrew we are able to give you a choice of agencies

Want to stay warm? Want to extend your scuba diving season? This program provides the skills and concepts required to safely and comfortably dive while using a dry suit. You will learn the special requirements for dry suit diving, how to use your new equipment, the benefits of a dry suit, and how to deal with emergency situations that are unique to dry suit diving.

A dry suit seals you off from the water and keeps you comfortable, even in surprisingly cold water. There is incredible diving in the world’s cooler regions and in some areas, conditions are even better in colder months. Becoming a dry suit diver allows you to expand your boundaries and dive more places, more often.

Prerequisites: Age 10+ and Open Water certification (or equivalent)

Course Overview

The first thing you’ll discover is which dry suit style and accompanying undergarments are right for you and the diving you’ll do. Then you’ll learn how to take care of your dry suit. During two dives you’ll practice:

  • Putting on and taking off your dry suit with minimal assistance.
  • Use of dry suit and valves/squeeze
  • Mastering buoyancy control using your dry suit.
  • Dive safety procedures when using a dry suit.
  • Buoyancy checks and fine-tuning

What is included?

Price includes all materials, free use of major scuba diving equipment as required: BCD, regulators, dry suit, undersuit, loan computer, loan compass and weights.
