Description
This enhanced Divecrew course (PADI Plus) is the ultimate in diver safety and diver buoyancy. DSMB (Delayed Surface Marker Buoy) is a critical piece of diver safety equipment when diving in open water. In the UK a reel ratchet type may be most appropriate with over 30 metres of line. Overseas, a finger reel with 10 to 15 metres of line. Possibly a one breath frog? What would you choose?
Mid water and bottom deployments vary depending on conditions and circumstances of the dive. Do not rely on your guide. Experience shows many times the guide is separated from the group. You need to be seen in the water for your own safety. A DSMB is essential.
Add to this Peak Performance Buoyancy. Divecrew again enhances the PADI requirement and includes: Weight and trim, video analysis of bubble rates, trim and fin action, alternative fin action skills, the line test, the hoop test and grading of Bronze, Silver, Gold or the ultimate Black. We will show you how to work out your SAC rate, you can measure your own improvements in air consumption. The weight transfer game. This is an action packed course with plenty to do.
Price includes all tuition, materials and the PADI PIC (Licence Card for the PPB), free video analysis of deployment and fin action/bubble rate. This course requires four dives over two days. Divecrew has enhanced this course way above PADI requirements (PADI Plus). You will work with and experience finger reels, ratchet reels, deploy mid water, deploy from the bottom, one breath deployment, surface deployment, entanglement strategies, reel jammed strategy, pro’s and con’s for differing types relative to your future diving. After this course you will be well versed in deciding on the very best safety equipment for you. Your buoyancy and air management will also improve. We normally find most divers are over weighted.
Site is usually Wraysbury.
